SoundScape: Mantra Series |

Music was transcribed from the sequence of bindi colors in "Mantra." The tempo, which started at 45 when I created the piece, will be increased to coincide with my current age, which at present is 50.

This piece was created by listening to Jonathan Buck's jazz composition, "Decomposition II." A quote by Buck about his music was then transcribed into braille, which uses the same cells for writing as for music notation. Using that as a pivot point, I then transcribed the quote into music.
